Mind Matters: Advancing Mental Well-Being in North Pinellas County
The Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin (JLCD) is proud to align with The Association of Junior Leagues International’s mission to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. As AJLI works to dismantle barriers that hinder women’s success – including limited leadership opportunities, lack of connection, caregiving burdens, wellness disparities, and systemic bias – JLCD is taking focused local action.
In 2025, JLCD has selected mental well-being as its new community focus area. Members will engage with local partners to support initiatives addressing self-esteem, body image, mental health stigma, healthy coping strategies, and social isolation. This focus strengthens our investment in developing our members as strong, effective leaders who are equipped to drive lasting impact in our community. It also reinforces our commitment to creating a supportive environment where members care for one another, not just as volunteers, but as women navigating life’s challenges together.
Together, through grassroots action and collective leadership, we’re creating space for women to lead their best lives locally and beyond.
